Deaf/Hard of Hearing Players Wanted for 2024 Winter Deaflympics

The International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD) and the USA Deaf Sports Federation (USADSF) have confirmed that the Winter Deaflympics will take place March 2nd-12th 2024 in Turkey. AHIHA is looking for deaf or hard of hearing hockey players to compete on the men’s ice hockey team for international play. Players with juniors, college or pro experience are preferred. Players must be at least 16 years of age and meet the ICSD standard for hearing loss which is 55db or greater loss in the better ear to participate. AHIHA is hosting tryouts for the 2024 Deaflympic Men’s Ice Hockey team in Buffalo NY on August 16th-20th 2023.
